Jen's passion for design was quite evident as a little girl. When she wasn't drawing or painting, she would dream up plans for her future home. Her parents would often come home to rearranged rooms in the house and she always had her own ideas about how things could look. Because of her love of art, she attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a degree in graphic design. After graduating, she worked for IKEA in the Communication and Design department, eventually becoming an interior designer. While there, she designed and implemented room settings in the showroom, showcasing Scandinavian design in both traditional and modern styles. Because of her graphic design degree and her interior design experience, Jen is passionate about design in all forms; whether it be interior design, graphic design, web design, creative writing and photography.

Jen believes that interior design is very personal. Creating the perfect space that combines the clients' wants as well as their needs and making it all work together beautifully is what inspires her as a designer.

Jen is also a freelance lifestyle photographer and watercolor artist when she has free time. You can also find her hiking and camping, practicing yoga, and traveling. Although she is from Cincinnati, she has a bit of wanderlust and loves exploring new places. She is also passionate about wellness and living a holistic and natural lifestyle.
