First Impressions Matter

First Impressions Matter

You don’t need a large foyer to have a great entryway in your home. Even the smallest of entryways can make an impact. Here are 5 ways to make a lasting impression as you walk in your front door.

1.Clear The Clutter

No one wants to walk into a messy entry. Put away all those shoes, useless knick-knacks, and unnecessary items and create a more clean and welcoming space.

2. Be Bold

It’s okay to be bold! Use a bold paint color or graphic wall covering to add texture and depth. It will be sure to make a statement.

3. Balance Furniture and Function

While you do not want to have too much furniture or bulky furniture in your entryway, keep in mind that you still need some storage; after all you need somewhere to put your keys!

4. Spend Your Money Where it Counts

Splurge on investment and statement pieces and save on accessories.

5. Design For the Space You Have

Work with the limitations of the space you have; don’t try to force something to work in your space.
