Sprucing up Your Outdoor Space for Summer as Featured on Fox 19

Are you looking to improve your outdoor space without a complete remodel?  Here are some quick, more affordable ways to get ready for summer entertaining especially with the 4th of July around the corner!

1.  Reupholster your furniture cushions. Good quality outdoor furniture can be expensive, so if you'd invested in some quality pieces, it might be time to reupholster.  While outdoor fabric has become much more durable, outdoor fabric can and will eventually get dirty and faded,  not to mention  outdated!  It a great fabric is in stock, it is relatively quick and less expensive than buying all new furniture.

2.  Add some fun, updated pillows. Want to add an easy pop to your space?  Pillows in bright colors, florals and graphic patterns can easily upgrade your sofa or chair, especially if the cushion fabric is more neutral.

3. Get a new updated rug. Don't forget about the floor! Outdoor rugs now come in all sizes and patterns and can offer interest and coziness to your space. Not to mention, most are made or polypropylene, a very durable material that can withstand the elements.

4. Don't forget about candles! Candles always add ambiance in any space, especially for night time entertaining. Whether they are wall mounted, on a table or shelf, candles alone or in a holder is a definite accessory for the outdoors.

5. Add creative and colorful plant/flower pots. It's summer, so enjoy those flower in the best way possible. Mixing and matching a variety of floor pots adds color and enhances your plants and flowers. Potted plants can also fill in empty areas. In addition, they come in all sizes and shapes that will work whether your space is large or small.
