How to Get a Jumpstart on Holiday Planning

Amy Youngblood Interiors spent the morning with Fox19 News Now, talking about how you can get a jumpstart on holiday planning now, before the holidays are here. You can watch the segment here: Getting the Jump on Holiday Decorations

It might be hard to believe, but Thanksgiving is now less than two months away! If you're looking to get that dated kitchen redone for the holidays, sorry, it's just too late! But don't worry, you can still refresh your home for the holidays in other ways.

Here is what you can do at AYI right now by Thanksgiving:

  • In stock furnishings that come as-is with no customization
  • Light fixtures
  • In stock rugs
  • Accessories
  • Window treatments with in stock fabric

You can make your home feel cozy and inviting for your holiday guests just by upgrading your lighting and adding more warmth to your textiles. A new rug, window treatments and cushions for your sofa can really freshen up the space and make it feel like new.

If your deadline isn't by Thanksgiving, you can do all of the above by Christmas, but with more options, like upholstery such as a sectional or sofa, assuming that there are no fabric delays. If you're expecting a lot of guests and you just don't have enough seating, this might be a must!

The bottom line is: don't procrastinate! Waiting until the last minute to spruce up your space only adds to the stress of the holidays. Start your planning with us now!
